Flyways are underground highways for birds.  These tunnels run for thousands of miles and are particularly useful when the weather conditions are poor.  Many birds have been saved from hurricanes or blizzards by using Flyways because they provide a warm and safe route.  The tunnels are roomy enough to fit two dragons flying side by side and are lighted by thousands of multi-colored, luminescent jellyglops. The tunnels were made by Guelve Pine Trees, and lie beneath the earth all over the Eastern continent.
